Makers of the World’s Longest Sausage

Schneiders has been involved with the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, the largest Bavarian festival in North America, since its beginning in 1969 when Schneiders was selected to develop the Official Oktoberfest Sausage.

In 1995, Schneiders created a record-breaking Oktoberfest Sausage strand in partnership with M&M Meat Shops that earned us a Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Sausage. The 46.3 km (29 miles) long sausage was made by hand, link by link. It was more than 80 times the height of the CN Tower, and it would take someone more than nine hours to walk the full length of the sausage.

Today, Schneiders Oktoberfest Sausage is the best-selling sausage in Canada!
