Bacon Pepper Poppers
10 slices Schneiders® Hickory Smoked Classic Cut Bacon
5 Jalapeno peppers
½ cup Herb and garlic cream cheese
½ cup Monterrey Jack cheese, grated
½ tsp Smoked paprika or chipotle pepper powder
¼ cup Green onion, minced
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Slice jalapenos lengthwise and remove the seeds and membrane.
Mix the cream cheese, Monterrey jack cheese, smoked paprika and onion. Divided the mixture evenly between the jalapeno pepper halves and top with half a pepperette. Tightly wrap a slice of bacon around each stuffed pepper.
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and brown.
