Bacon Wrapped Dates

Crispy, smoky, chewy, sweet, and stuffed with chorizo. These Bacon-Wrapped Dates are a bite-size dream come true.


8 slices Schneiders® Hickory Smoked Classic Cut Bacon, cut in half

150 g Fresh chorizo sausage, casing removed

16 Pitted Medjool dates, split, keeping one side attached

Ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Divide the sausage meat into 16 small balls. Stuff the dates with the sausage meat and wrap each date with a half slice of bacon.

Place the dates so that the seem of the bacon is on the baking sheet, this will ensure that the bacon doesn’t unravel during cooking.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the bacon is golden and crispy.
