Bacon Wrapped Smokies

These have a lot going on in every bite. A double hit of smoky goodness is set off by caramel sweetness. The crisp bacon contrasts the juicy sausage perfectly. Try them dipped into honey mustard or a savoury BBQ sauce.
1 pkg Schneiders® Smokies – Original Recipe

1 pkg Schneiders® Hickory Smoked Classic Cut Bacon

1 cup Brown sugar

Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut each bacon slice into thirds.

Cut each smokie into five or six pieces.

Wrap each bacon piece around a smokie allowing for a slight overlap.

Secure with a toothpick and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the bacon & smokies.

Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bacon wrapped smokies.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is browned and the sugar is melted.

Serve immediately.
