Cheesy, Crispy Bologna Sandwich


1 lb (450 g) Shaved Schneiders® Blue Ribbon® Bologna

6 Fresh sausage buns

2 tbsp Pepperoncini peppers

¼ cup Crispy onions

1 tbsp (15 mL) Olive oil

Cheese sauce

1 cup Grated cheddar cheese

2 tbsp (30 mL) 35% cream

4 tbsp (60 mL) Beer (preferably lager)

Salt and Pepper

In a small pot combine cheese, cream and beer. Place on low heat and whisk until combined. Season with salt and pepper, reserve.

In medium non-stick pan over medium high heat add oil and fry Schneiders® Blue Ribbon® bologna until the meat is golden and crispy, 2 to 3 minutes.

To assemble divide meat evenly amongst buns. Generously spoon sauce over meat, add pepperoncinis to taste and top with crispy onions.
