Kicked Up Caesar
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tbsp Celery salt
2 tsp Chili flakes
2 tsp Lime zest
1 Lime wedge
4 tbsp (60 mL) Lime juice
8 dashes Hot sauce
4 oz Tequila, optional
6 cups (1.5 L) Spicy clamato juice
4 Pepperoncini peppers
4 Cocktail onions
Cut a slit in the lime wedge and to use to coat the rim of each glass with juice.
Invert each glass in to spice mixture to coat rim. Fill each glass with ice.
Add a tablespoon lime juice, 2 dashes hot sauce, 1 ounce tequila, if using, and one and a half cups clamato juice to each glass. Stir to combine.
Skewer a pepper and onion and garnish each glass along with Pepperettes®.
Notes:
For an extra kick, stir in some grated fresh horseradish.
