1 pkg Schneiders® Classic Recipe Smoked Sausages, each sausage cut into 5 pieces

20 21/30 Black tiger shrimp, peeled and cleaned

20 pieces Pineapple, cut into 1 inch pieces

1 medium Red onion cut into 1 inch pieces

5 12 inch Bamboo skewers

2 Scallions thinly sliced

2 tbsp Coriander thinly sliced

1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds

Marinade:
2 tbsp (30 mL) Vegetable oil

¼ cup (60 mL) Light soy sauce

3 tbsp (45 mL) Honey

1 clove Garlic, finely grated

1 tbsp Ginger, finely grated

1 tsp (5 mL) Sesame oil

1 tbsp (15 mL) Lime juice

Preheat grill to 350 ºF.

Combine all ingredients of the marinade in a small bowl and whisk together.

Alternating Schneiders® sausage, shrimp, red onion and pineapple skewer ingredients onto the bamboo skewers.

Brush skewers with marinade about 10 minutes before grilling.

Grill skewers turning and basting occasionally until shrimp are cooked, approximately 10 minutes.

Sprinkle sesame seeds, coriander and scallions and a squeeze of fresh lime before serving.

Notes:
Serve on a bed of rice or quinoa and a big green salad.
