Summertime Grill Platter

Fire up the grill, and your appetite. Present this savoury spread, featuring Schneiders Naturally Hardwood Smoked Sausages at your next party, and watch your guests dive right in.


1 375 g pkg Schneiders® Naturally Hardwood Smoked Octoberfest sausage, cut into 1-inch thick slices

1 375 g pkg Schneiders® Naturally Hardwood Smoked Classic Recipe sausage, cut into 1-inch thick slices

1 Red onion, cut into ½-inch thick slices

1 tbsp (15 mL) Olive oil

1 jar PC Black Label Apricot Riesling Wine Jelly, divided

1 cup (250 mL) Cherry tomatoes

150 g Sharp cheddar cheese, sliced

½ cup (125 mL) PC Whole Grain Dijon




Preheat grill to medium heat.

Toss onions in olive oil and season with salt. Place on the grill until fragrant and charred, about 6 minutes flipping halfway through.

Place cherry tomatoes on the grill until charred, about 2 minutes.

Place the sliced sausage on the grill. Cook until charred and deep brown, about 6 minutes, flipping halfway through cook time. Remove from grill and immediately brush each slice with apricot Riesling wine jelly.

Place sausage slices on board with cheddar cheese slices , onions, cherry tomatoes, remaining wine jelly and PC Whole Grain Dijon. Serve with grilled flat bread.
